BPS Voice Studio: Terms and Conditions

Effective from [launch date]

Booking a session, purchasing a package, subscribing or joining the BPS Voice Community indicates acceptance of these terms.

1. Booking and payment

  • Flexi-4-Packs and Inner Circle Subscriptions are available following an Initial Voice Consultation.
  • Initial Voice Consultations, ad hoc sessions and Flexi-4-Packs are paid in full at the time of booking or purchase.
  • Prices are shown at the time of booking and may change. Price changes do not affect packages already purchased, and subscribers and members will receive at least 30 days' notice.

2. Flexi-4-Packs

  • A Flexi-4-Pack is valid for 120 days from the date of purchase. Unused sessions expire.
  • Each session may be rescheduled once, within the validity period.
  • The validity period is extended by the length of any scheduled studio closure.

3. Inner Circle Subscription

  • Inner Circle Subscriptions are offered by enquiry and subject to availability. Once a regular lesson time is agreed, it is held for 48 hours while the subscription is set up, and released if the subscription is not completed within that time.
  • BPS Voice Studio books each subscriber's reserved sessions once the subscription is active.
  • The Inner Circle Subscription includes a regular reserved time and BPS Voice Membership, and is billed in advance by automatic payment, monthly or fortnightly depending on the option chosen.
  • One session per month may be rescheduled, and must take place within 30 days of the original date. Sessions not used within this time lapse.
  • Pausing: an Inner Circle Subscription may be paused for up to one month with one week's written notice before the next billing date. Pausing permanently moves the billing date.
  • Cancelling: there is no minimum term. Written notice is required at least two weeks before the next billing date. On cancellation, Community access returns to Studio Access, or BPS Voice Membership can continue at the standard rate.
  • Studio closures: payments continue, and each missed session earns a Holiday Credit, valid for 60 days after the studio reopens. Holiday Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.

4. Rescheduling and missed sessions

  • Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice by contacting the studio directly, subject to availability.
  • Changes with less than 24 hours' notice, missed sessions and no-shows are forfeited.
  • Repeated changes may affect ongoing lesson availability.

5. Illness

  • Clients who are unwell should notify the studio as early as possible. The session may be held online where appropriate, and standard terms apply.
  • BPS Voice Studio may refuse an in-person session if a client arrives with symptoms that may pose a health risk to others. The session will continue online where possible, or otherwise be treated as a late cancellation.

6. Studio cancellations
If BPS Voice Studio needs to cancel a session, an alternative time will be offered or the session will be returned to the client's package. If neither is possible, a credit or refund will be provided.

7. Online sessions
Clients are responsible for their own internet access, equipment and space for online sessions. Technical difficulties on the client's side do not automatically qualify for credits or replacement sessions.

8. BPS Voice Community

  • The Community is for adults aged 18 and over.
  • Studio Access is included for clients who book lessons following an Initial Voice Consultation, and continues after coaching ends.
  • BPS Voice Membership renews automatically each month or year, and may be cancelled at any time with at least 72 hours' notice before the next billing date.
  • BPS Voice Members receive a discount on Flexi-4-Packs.

9. Courses and digital products
Courses, workshops, recordings and resources are for the purchaser's individual use and may not be shared, copied or redistributed.

10. Refunds and transfers

  • All services and products are non-refundable except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
  • Packages, subscriptions, memberships and credits are not transferable or exchangeable unless otherwise agreed.

11. General

  • BPS Voice Studio may make exceptions to these terms at its discretion. An exception applies to that circumstance only.
